Today i went to PWTC with my friends. It was very fun and we did win some goodies bags and freebies as well. It was a well spent day.
Nearby there is a mall. It is typically named as "The Mall". Well, it is okay with me as long as we could fill our bellies with food. Thus, we went in and have ourselves a wholesome meals of chicken chop and as for me, fish and chips.
After that, we passed by this shop selling clothes. One of my friend, Elvenna liked the blouse that was displayed on one of the mannequin. The blouse was really pretty in its own way- in another words, it suits her fine.
So she went in and tried a similar pattern of the blouse but with another colour. It was grey, and well, look dull and boring compared to the baby blue of the mannequin's. So, she asked whether she could try the one on the mannequin. Why, it was reasonable, is it not?
Well, this salesgirl must be pretty lazy or something. She is well, a M. I do not mean to be rude or condemning, but you will feel frustrated too if you were in my shoes. She said the blouse on the mannequin is not meant to be sold. Is it not odd? Well, so i asked her awhile later that what is to happen to the blouse if it is not meant to be sold? you know what rubbish did she replied? "Baju tu kami akan hantar balik kepada dealer." As if!! There and then, we made two conclusions;
1) She is too lazy to get the blouse out of the mannequin, or
2) She wants the blouse and do not want to sell it to others
But either way, HELLO?! Come on, por favor. What is the purpose of having a business? To see it crumble in your hands? The shop is definitely "dead". We were the only customers there and you treat us like dirt?! I do not know as the employer is not there. But if she did not fire or warned her about her stupid antics, the shop will surely collapse within her hands.
Then, we went to this "Guardian" in "The Mall" and again we met a M moron. He was very unfriendly and was very rude to us. So Leka was commenting whether there was a comment box nearby- she wants to comment on something. And you know what? His expression changed dramatically and now feign friendliness and politeness.
After all that unpleasant experience, there was yet one more awaiting us in KL Sentral. Leka wanted to buy this pair of sandals. And as it seems, the place is a bit crowded. Another M lady, who looks like the vendor just squatted on a bench, oblivious that there was a customer wanting to have a good look at the products. Even so, if the good is just near you, why would you not fetch them for the customer?! Instead, she just sat there on her bench sticking tags on the sandals while my friend had to lean almost like 60 degrees to get it. Furthermore, this lady does not have any organisation in her business. She put hanger that stated RM10 for sandals that cost RM25- RM35. Then, when we commented on the possibility of people misunderstanding it (we were one of them) she did not responded.
I mean, business is business. When business came to your doorsteps, should you not go and welcome it? Instead, you make all this haughty and unnecessary antics which will repel your customers. Surely you would already known that great service will make your business grow? Then why would you want to perform such incompetent acts?!
Till now, i would never had guessed why...
