Since I still have some time, I will tell you about this movie. It revolves around two guys, as you can see, Harold and Kumar. Harold is a Korean whereas Kumar is an Indian. They knew each other in university and are on their way to Amsterdam to see Harold's girlfriend. Both of their personality is totally different; Harold: uptight, neat and I-do-not-want-any-trouble kind of guy whilst Kumar: a all-party-goer, unorthodox, untidy and all. In short, the total opposite of Harold.
So they were on a plane, in which naughty Kumar hid some weed and wanted to have them in the plane (he quarrelled with a security guard beforehand; the guard suspected that he had drugs on him. Pretty good instinct, I must say). He even invented something that could keep the smoke of the weed inside, so that there would not be any detection of it. Anyhow, when they boarded the plane, an old lady saw Kumar and being the same colour as the 911's terrorists and seeing that he had something that looked like a bomb that she screamed. Kumar tried hard to explained it as bon, but was referred as bomb by the passengers. When the thing broke and the plane was filled with weed's smoke, the passengers said it was poisonous gas. Eventually, both Harold and Kumar were reprimanded by three marshals on the plane and were sent to Guantanamo by an idiotic agent (if you had seen the movie, you will know how idiotic one can be).
There they escaped with the help of some terrorists and on their way to Miami where they reunited with their friend, Razi. Throughout their journey to freedom, you will see the problems of colours, perception and hypocrisy that is still happening in America. You will see blacks labelled as gangsters or mobs, KKK and Bush as an hypocrite and just how idiots the Americans can be (It is not I who say it. It is what the movie demonstrate.
In short, despite the idiotic antics they might have in the movie, it gives people the lesson of discrimination in ethnicity and colour of the skin and identity. Kumar, an Indian can still be labeled as Osama bin Ladin just because they are of the same colour? That is paranoia.
