Coffee ar?

After reading Tay Yeng's blog about latte, my craving for coffee has heightened. But I am not the so-called coffee lover. And why is that? I only drink it without knowing the differences between each of them.

I still remembered the first time that I went into Starbucks. As you know, the coffee over there is well, over the moon, if I might say about the price. Seeing that, I ordered the cheapest coffee there was on the menu (I do not even know what it meant by the name). The barista asked me for confirmation still and I nodded my head off even when I had this weird, creepy feeling already. When it came, it shocked me...

It was a very tiny cup of coffee which is covered with whip cream. Up until now, the image is still in my head and yet I do not recall its name. Anyway, I was up onto another surprise: it was the most bitter beverage that I had ever tasated. OH MY GOD!!! As it was quite expensive, I gulped it down despite of the strong aroma still tingling in my throat for several hours...

Of all the coffee that I have tried before, including mocha, cappucino and latte, and oh, don't forget about Malaysian's favourite coffee, Nescafé, I still prefer black coffee the best...

Maybe it is the results of my dad's influence, but a nicely brewed black coffee is always the best. One does not have to go far to a fancy café like Starbucks to get a nice black coffee up in one's hand. Just go to the nearest sundry shop or market and you are with one packet already.

Perhaps it is the bitterness that drawn me to it. Or perhaps it is the coffee moustache that make me smile upon thinking of it. But here, in KL, it is really hard to find nice black coffee. Oh, how I miss my cup of black coffee... (Sigh)
