Whoever we are, one thing is for sure: It is extremely hard to please everyone at a go.
As a child, perhaps he or she would never have to please anyone. Of course, if the parents are very strict, then that would be another story...
Parents has to please their children; maybe not now, but sooner they still have to, in the sake of their grandchildren or pity of their children? Undeniably, this case might not happen, but there are still a minority, is it not?
Teachers have to please their students, if not, the students will run back crying and complaining to their parents and that might be the end of his or her job.
Even as politicians, if you did not satisfy the cravings and needs of your fellow countrymen, off you go, down the sea and into the shark's mouth...
(Sigh) So hard to please anyone, but still we are doing it. Why is that? Well, perhaps it is like a hierarchy. One puts pressure on another and the next and the next and the... the cycle will not end. So who is gaining from all of this power abuse, I assume? I guess God is the only one who knows... (Sigh)
