Today I read an article about renaming the streets in Kuala Lumpur and I was, like, frustrated by those people who don't think before acting maturely. Okay, okay, this news might be quite long already (it was in October), but I didn't read then...
Anyway, one would definitely had noticed the unhapiness that is caused within the residents and the tourists as well. It's the Jalan Alor that I'm talking about. Personally, I think the residents' and the tourists' argumentation is reasonable. Besides, do they (the people who came to such decision) think that renaming these streets are a waste of money? You have to take down the poles, I guess that is what they are called, paint it again (needs money too, no?) and to stake it back into the road (don't need money also, is it?) And they have the nerve to say that uh, it's to give the tourists a better image of the street. Isn't it bullshit?
Come on. Stop wasting money on stupid stuff. Don't forget it's our money that you are spending it on. So please? nay, I don't think that word is appropiate, spend wisely, for goodness sake...
If the tourists aren't complaining, why should you be such a busybody and fuck up all this nonsense bullshit?!
