Last year and last semester to have fun

After this semester is over, I'll no longer known as the undergraduate as I am still now. Having that in mind, I'm giving my all to have fun - that means everything that I never had experienced before and YES, I found my chance in the Ponggal Festival.

Yesterday I participate in making kolam, a beautiful decoration that is made out of colourful beras hancur (I believed that it's that)designed on the floor. There were cute Pikachu in a colourful heart-shaped circle, two butterflies, in which one is cuter then the other, Spongebob (very nice), Patrick (Spongebob's friend), one ponggal design with lamps on four corners, a simple design with the ponggal pouring out, and a peacock that I thought was a duck until I was told by my friends. Then there is, of course, ours.... Hehe

Our produced kolam is of a peacock in the middle of a circle and surrounded by more intricate design. All efforts from those below should be appreciated:

1. Yen Cheng - the head of designer (we did give our suggestions as well)

2. Mama Khe Li - the one who strive although she feels pain here and there and want to be a superman on the floor (lying flat, that's superman)

3. Carmen - was playing ping pong but came to help us anyway...

4. Boon Kheng - also helped us by pouring in the blue

5. Me, of course - though I didn't helped much. Why? Because I look mighty highly on the quality and I didn't know the right method at first... Hehe

*6. Cheng Lee (our initial team member) - can't make it. She has to buy some important books, so to speak. Pity actually.

Ours did attract lots of attention. One guy even said he's jealous. LOL... And here's a little scoop: ssssshhhhh... We might actually win the contest. It is going to be announced late tonight.

Curious with what we had done? Don't worry. Once I get my hands on the picture, I'll post it here immediately...

In a nutshell, I'm proud of our product even though some people might not comprehend the content of it... See if you can appreciate it ya? ^^
