3rd Stop: Bukit Melawati

Next, we went to this historical site. The history is quite long, so here is the short version:

Bukit Melawati has a fort which was built by Sultan Ibrahim. When the Dutch came, they took over the fort. But, Sultan Ibrahim managed to take over once again with his wits.

Anyway, we went there to look around. There were lotong over there. Lots of them. Lotong is the only species of monkey that are available there. They have black furs with long tails, but the new-born is with golden furs. They were really gorgeous. And we could feed them over there. They were really friendly until i upset one of the mother and it bit my finger nail off. Thank god i kept my finger nails long. Haha

Then, there were other interesting features like the poisonous well, the tomb of the royals and lots more. If you have the time, you should go there too
