REASON VS SUPERSTITION

There are two kinds of faith. One is known as 'Reasonable' faith, while the other is known the 'blind' faith. As the term implies, blind faith is the belief without evidence. It is true that religious blind faith may bring comfort to an individual. But just because something is comforting it doesn't make it true. If you are a person who prefer to hear about things which are comforting, go a head. It has nothing to do with the truth. Blind faith, if taken literally, may lead to self destruction that may take along some innocent people's lives. Martyrs are turning themselves into living bombs, blasting away 'worthless' lives in their ways in the name of their religion. Christians are not any better than the Muslims. In America these Talibans of Christ are interfering with every single stage of science progress. They forbid the implementation of the Stem-cell research because they believe each 3-day-old fetus bears a soul, despite this advanced technology, which will save million of 'souls' with conscious minds suffering dread diseases. In Africa, this same group of people also forbid the use of condoms in spite of the spreading of AIDS that will kill millions, as they believe that HIV is a punishment by god to those who commit adultery. Such claims are made without any justification backed up by evidential basis.

Reasonal faith, on the other hand, is far more rational than the former. Reasonal faith is defined as belief with supportive evidence. Science is associate with this faith. Reasonal faith is testable and convertible if new evidence proves the old theory wrong. Blind faith, in conctrast, can never do anything of this sort.

Blind faith is taught as a belief not to be questioned. This kind of belief is an impediment and, probably, a dead end for knowledge. Reasonal faith encourages and welcomes questions and critical thinking and is ready to accept rebuttal.

BLIND faith is leading everyone into total darkness. REASONAL faith serves as a candle light, pioneering one everyone to a right direction.
