Relationship: When they turned sour PART 2

Remember in the few blogs beforehand, I told you about my friend's problem with his dad? Well, I also have problems with my grandparents. Admitedly, I was never close to any of them and now three of them left this world and the last of all-my maternal grandmother is well, a hard-to-get-along kind of person.

Perhaps it was the marriage between my pparents that drew apart our relationships with, especially my maternal side of the family, including my cousins and all, but not entirely, thankfully. There were still some that we can get along fine. But whenever we went to the house, we would always felt awkward and the air is always unbearable, suffocating until we could not stand it anymore and tried to leave. The matter is that worse everytime.

I know perfectly well that I should not blame anyone for this, but I think the location of our house and their's also contribute to the fact that we were kind of awkward in their presence. The distance is that far that we only go there one day yearly, which is on the Chinese New Year. Unbelievable, right? Not with you ask me. You see, both of my parents worked and well, we do not have the transportation to go there even it is in my hometown as well, which is Penang.

But what is done is done and I just need to get used to that. So, whenever you see me acting awkwardly towards the elders, please consider my situation as well.
