Sex education

Last Friday i went out with Yen Cheng to shop in Mid Valley. While waiting for a cab to come by, we talked for quite some time on a very interesting subject: Sex Education.

According to her, her class conducted a presentation that afternoon itself and this was what her course mates revealed:
ach
1. Crime rate increases (rape, molest) because people are not well educated regarding this field

2. Malaysia is the only country that cut off steamy scenes; yet putting the same genre for people above 18 (SX18)

When it comes to the solution, her coursemate suggested that a sex education class should be conducted to educate the people about this undisclosed subject. But, some of her coursemates disagree upon this approach. They think it is better if they teach the people in a discreet manner. The problem is that what if the teacher is not willing to do that? Perhaps they are shy? Bear in mind that Malaysia has becomes a so-called "A" country where the importance is put on the amount of A's that the students obtained. If that is the case, do you not think that the teacher would rather focus more on the studies than to enforce the knowledge of sex education? Comments are welcomed.
