Chung Hwa Confucian gathering...

Yesterday was marvellous... initially we were suppose to go to Evergreen hotel, but they changed the plan abruptly to Flame (the steamboat shop opposite the old Por Tay high school). Fortunately, I think I'm much pleased with the latter. I also found out that the cocoa boutique that I visited during Upper Six in Kuala Lumpur has a branch here in Penang; moreover, it is just one shop beside Flame!!!! How coincidental, right? I still remember vividly how the taste of the chocolate coated coffee bean linger within my tongue. It is heaven, no doubt...

Anyway, the price is considerable reasonable as it is dinner buffet with lots of seafood. There's salmon sashimi, unagi with fried rice, crab, scallop, prawns, small lobsters and other poultry and meat such as beef, mutton and pork. Besides that, they served eight variety of soup. Our table ordered milk ginger and tom yam. At first taste, the milk ginger taste horrible with straw mushroom, but it turned out better with other ingredients... then there was the fried bean curd. It's really heaven. Two types of drink is served, which is orange juice and the sugarcane herbal tea. And there is ice-cream too. Yum yum...

After member discount of 20%, it is only RM55 per person. As I'm a salmon sashimi lover, I ate a lot. Should had eaten more. (sigh) They even has lunch buffet that only cost RM23++. Not bad, I think...

It was incredible. I saw some friends that I have not seen for a whole of 10 years!!! Can you imagine that?! 10 years... My my... And then we shifted to Northern Beach Cafe, which remind me of the Xia Xiang's activity... It was really fun... We chatted till one something then only willing to depart. Yik Song also told us lots of scary stories...
