DIY project

I think I never told you that I am having a long-term project going on. It is for the future, but I'm doing it little by little currently. The project is mainly about refurnishing and renovate my family's house - to repaint, throw old and ruined furniture, adding and changing all those old, worn out stuff, that sort of thing.

So today I went out with my sister to accompany her to buy her baking utensils. Originally, I just want to take a walk and not to buy anything; however, we went to Gama and I was enchanted by a pair of baby blue sandals, but I did not bought it. Then we went to buy her stuff, returning exhausted and annoyed as she forgot that today is Sunday and that most shops are closed. Fortunately, we did find her baking utensils in Giant. That was where I saw the thing that I want: a zig-zag shaped shoe rack. It cost RM59. I bought it eventually despite disapproval from my sister.

Upon returning to our house, we unwrapped the shoe rack eagerly (it's DIY by the way), in which my sister made a huge gap. I was really pissed. Then we scratched our heads thinking of the method to fix it up as there were no instructions given... During the process, we laughed and teased each other a lot and managed to fix it up in no time at all. It was really fun. Perhaps it's true that DIY project does bond a relationship to the next level. Hehe
